Handheld Device

The traditional method of staff taking orders directly from customers has been updated with the Handheld Device feature of Touch de Order. This allows for a smarter and seamless communication of orders to the kitchen.
※ In the ad-free (paid) plan, you have access for up to 5 devices, while in the ad-supported (free) plan, it is limited to 1 device.

Direct Order from Customers' Smartphones through QR Authentication

By providing a dedicated QR code for each table, which can be generated from the management interface, customers can authenticate by scanning the QR code with their smartphones. This allows them to directly place orders from their smartphones by choosing items from the menu. Additionally, since it's a web app, there is no need for customers to install a dedicated app.

We retain sales data for the past 13 months, including detailed order information. This enables effective inventory planning, tailored to each season, by leveraging historical data and minimizing waste.

What can Touch de Order do?

Touch de Order has very basic functionalities, so let me introduce what it can and cannot do.

What Touch de Order can do

  • You can place pre-authenticated devices such as tablets on the table, allowing customers to view the menu and place orders directly from those devices.
  • Users (customers) can scan the QR code prepared on the table or elsewhere, and once authenticated, they can place orders directly from their smartphones.
  • The store can view order details from the main terminal (tablet, etc.). Depending on the plan, 'real-time notifications' are available upon receiving orders.
  • The staff has a handheld feature for taking orders directly in face-to-face interactions.
  • Recording of order details (up to 13 months, ※ We plan to extend to 36 months in the future).

※ As it is currently in beta, real-time notifications are available for use. However, if the limit is reached, we may restrict real-time notifications.

What Touch de Order cannot do

  • Since it's a web app, an internet connection is required.
  • At this time, we do not provide basic support.
  • There is no payment functionality.
  • Issuing receipts or invoices is not available.
